Life On A Wall

Welcome to our site!  We are students at PA Distance Learning Charter School interested in the environmental science and psychology of living walls.  Growing a wall partially or completely covered in living plants is an architectural and engineering feat.  Come with us as we discover more about this science, engineering and artistic integration.

Plant life and enough resources and nutrients to support plant life.

Why are living walls good for the environment?

It improves air quality in dense urban areas and lessen pollution. 

They can improve air quality and brighten up environments connecting humans with nature. ​

What is the goal of living walls?

The goal is to have living walls become a normalized and have them implemented in cities across the nation to improve breathing quality in high pollution areas.
